Electrical mobility is becoming a reality and will continue increasing in the next years. FIM and Dorna firmly believe about technical development and evolution through the competition. This is why FIM and Dorna Sports launched the FIM ENEL MotoE™ World Cup in 2019. Rooted in cutting edge technology, the zero-emissions series aims to take alternative vision of racing onto the track.
Competing as a new class at FIM MotoGP™ World Championship events, MotoE™ is a globally visible example of high-octane yet zero-emission motorsport – benefitting from MotoGP™’s state-of-the-art TV production and substantial communication platform. Moreover, the involvement in the project of the MotoGP™ independent teams, with years of experience and professionalism, ensure the successful development of the new series.
Dorna Sports is also analysing how to reduce carbon emissions generated by the infrastructure and logistical demands of the MotoGP™ World Championship, this is the reason why we partnered with Enel not just for FIM ENEL MotoE™ World Cup but also for the MotoGP™ World Championship.
“Motorsport is not a problem for the environment, is a part of the solution.”
